In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov shares 8 of the best chess opening traps in the Jobava London System, which arises after the following moves: 1.d4 d5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.Bf4. You can play this setup regardless of what Black does, making it a universal opening system for White after 1.d4.

This opening is packed with dirty tricks. In fact, over 3.4 million players have fallen into traps in the commonly played move 3...Nc6.

It's funny because many chess players think that the Jobava London System is novel and creative, but in reality, White is playing very straightforward opening moves.
