Nils Gilman is CEO and Executive Vice President of Programmes at the Berggruen Institute where he directs activities and leads the institute's research program. Nils also serves as Deputy Editor of Noema Magazine. Nils was previously Associate Chancellor at the University of California, Berkeley, and is the author of several books, including most recently: Children of a Modest Star: Planetary Thinking for an Age of Crises (2024).
