Cola Beach in South Goa is one of those rare places where nature still feels untouched. Famous for its calm backwaters and crystal-clean water, this spot has become popular on Instagram but experiencing it in real life is something else entirely.

In this video, I share my personal kayaking experience at Cola Beach. The backwater stretch is short, around 500 meters, but the journey is peaceful and scenic. Surrounded by coconut trees, lush greenery, and shallow waters, kayaking here feels slow, calm, and refreshing. At one point, we even laid down on the kayak, watching the coconut trees and open sky something I’ll remember for a long time.

Me and my friend opted for a double kayak, which cost us ₹600 in total. The water is very shallow and safe, making this place suitable for kids and families as well. However, one important tip this place gets extremely crowded during holidays and peak hours, so visiting on weekdays or early mornings is highly recommended.

Interestingly, parts of Cola Beach feel more like Kerala than Goa, especially with the greenery and backwater vibe. There are also several beachside resorts offering beautiful views, perfect for a relaxed stay. Keep in mind that mobile network is not available here, so carry cash for payments.

If you’re looking for a calm kayaking experience surrounded by nature in South Goa, Cola Beach is definitely worth considering.
