Описание к видео Exploring Evergreen Hills Cemetery

Today's adventure takes us 30 miles south of Chicago to the town of Steger, Illinois and to the historic Evergreen Hills Cemetery. This 1850's cemetery is predominately Italian immigrants and contains some absolutely beautiful monuments and mausoleums. One mausoleum in particular contains the remains of John Steger who the town is named after. Founded in 1879, Steger and Sons Pianl Manufacturing Company was the heart of Steger, Illinois. Unfortunately, the company went out of business around 1959. A restored Steger and Sons grand piano can go for $30,000 today. So come join me as we explore this beautiful historic cemetery.
