Airplane II The Sequel - The TV Version Comparison

This video shows off the differences between the regular cut and the TV version of 1982's AIRPLANE II: THE SEQUEL. This TV version aired on the USA Network on Thanksgiving sometime in the early to mid-90s.

I didn't include every bit of censorship from the TV edit because some are rather routine (muting a profane word, etc.), so instead I chose to focus on some of the stranger omissions. For example, any mention of Sonny Bono's character being impotent is edited out, which makes his motivations really confusing.

The TV version includes a number of deleted scenes re-edited back into the film so it could run in a two hour timeslot. All the new scenes that were a part of this airing are in this video.
