This Sunday, our Church commemorates the original frontliners: the Myrrh-Bearing Women and Saints Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, a.k.a. the "disciple by night". The Myrrh-Bearers carried the ointments that were going to be used to anoint His precious and life-giving body; the men carried the body after bringing it down from the precious and life-giving cross, and placed it in a new tomb. They were on a mission to embalm and preserver His body. Let us explore how that mission unfolded, as Rev. Fr. Nektarios Najjar, Dean of St. Elias Cathedral in Ottawa, Canada, leads the way.
