The title of the film is "Karakoram"- In 1975, the first US climb of K2 (or Karakoram) was made and the expedition was led by the great mountain climber, Jim Whittaker. Whittaker was also the first American climb Everest. In this film produced and directed by Laszlo Pal, the entire experience was captured in an hour long documentary.
