A Walk in Honfleur, France 🇫🇷 Normandy - Birthplace of Impressionism - Relaxing Music - 4K

Travel with me to France as we walk and explore the iconic port town on the Northern coast of Normandy: Honfleur, France. Honfleur is known for its colorful half- timbered homes that line the cobblestone streets full of shops and art galleries, and scenic views from the picturesque Vieux Bassin, the old harbor right at the center that has inspired some of the most famous paintings by many Impressionist painters over time, including Claude Monet and his mentor, Eugène Boudin amongst many others.

Many historians agree to Honfleur being the birthplace of Impressionism. It was here, in Honfleur, where Eugene Boudin taught Claude Monet to paint outside (en plain air) and capture the changing sunlight on his canvas.

Honfleur, France has become one of the most popular places to visit in France and after seeing the sereness that is found at every corner, it is truly a must see.
