Yoga exercises for a kidney failure patient is very important. When kidney starts to fail or there is a disruption in kidney functioning Yoga can make a big difference in treatment.
Normal oxygen level in blood is around 96%-97%. With proper yoga techniques the level of oxygen in the blood can increase up to 99%-100%. Regular yoga can help in recovery of damaged kidney cells and also replenish it. In many cases it has been found that proper technique of Anulom and Vilom has resulted in increase of oxygen in the blood by 3%.
Proper form of yoga by a kidney patient can result in reduced blood pressure which in turn reduces stress level of the patient. The reduced stress level in a kidney failure patient indirectly affects his/her kidney. If blood pressure of a kidney failure patient is low then the blood will steadily flow through his/her kidney and will improve kidney functioning in the long run.
