On Sunday, Notre Dame Football Head Coach Marcus Freeman, offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock, and defensive coordinator Chris Ash met with members of the media to discuss Notre Dame's fall camp.

Irish Illustrated was in attendance and compiled highlights of the event.

Coach Freeman was asked about the ongoing QB competition and if he had named a starter yet. He responded no, but the decision would come soon.

He was also asked if he thought the QB competition would last this long going into it, and how important it was for a QB to not make a mistake versus simply making a good play.

Mike Denbrock was asked about how much the starting QB would dictate how the offense operates, and Denbrock said that the team needed to play to that QB's strengths, and that while CJ Carr and Kenny Minchey have different strengths and weaknesses, the offense wouldn't change too dramatically.
