We had a layover time of 6 hours at Kanpur and we decided to Explore Eateties at Kanpur

What we encountered is a 35 year old chat shop called ‘Hanuman chat bhandar’ and a quite old Sweet shop named ‘Thaggu Ke Laddu’.

1. Hanuman Chat Bhandar
This chat shop happens to be one of the oldest in the locality and most of the localites love their chats. Their basket chat is definitely talk of the town and has lots of ingredients which goes into it. It’s priced at 100₹ but I would say it’s completely worth it. Also we tried their Dahi Puri which is more on spicier side.

2. Thaggu Ke Laddu
Started by Ram Avatar Pandey quite a long back makes amazing varities of Laddus and kulfi.
We tried their Kaju laddu and Elachi Laddu. Both were too good and in each bite we could witness the flavour of it. You can order their laddu online itself at Aldebazaar website.
And the Badnaam kulfi is celebrated by localites here and happens to be their favourite!
