How to get rid of aphids and ants - Three Sisters Garden part XIII

This is the thirteenth video in the 3 sisters series that I am doing for the spring and summer of 2021. In this episode I am identifying and treating an aphid infestation and ridding the plants of sugar ants which farm and protect the aphids. I will be doing treatments to reduce the number of ants and aphids while allowing the aphids natural predators to help eliminate them. This series incorporates organic gardening, Back to Eden gardening, Ruth Stout Gardening, and regenerative agriculture principles. The garden is in northwest Louisiana, zone 8b. I will be using peppermint oil with detergent for aphids. For the ants I will use Borax (boron) mixed with sugar. I will also use Vaseline (petroleum jelly) for the ants.
