We are happy to release our label’s anniversary compilation titled X.
A label showcase and an inside peek at our musical DNA, with art for this occasion by the virtuoso Rosenfeldtown.

When we, Emiel and Daksinamurti decided to start the label we wouldn’t have dreamed of how it turned out. Now after almost 12 years of running the label, we are still amazed by the amount of creativity this psychedelic scene has to offer. A lot of art and music still inspires us, and we are happy to have contributed to the psychedelic culture with what we do. Our mission statement hasn’t changed since the day we started – to release psychedelic music away from stereotypes and stubborn boundaries.

Sangoma Records, founded in 2011 out of enthusiasm for psychedelic culture and music by the virtuoso Emiel / Gata Freak and cultural anthropologist Daksinamurti – both DJs for over a decade.
