DCUO: Atlantean Lair Theme (with new additional Large Room!)

A special look at the new Atlantean Lair Theme, available now on the DC Universe Online marketplace, as part of Game Update 90.

After many years since the last one, the DCUO developers finally released a brand new theme for your lair on 12th of December 2018. This theme is inspired by the architecture found in DCUO Episode 31: Deluge and DCUO Episode 33: Atlantis.

The theme takes the existing, typical layout we have seen in all the other lair themes, and builds on it. One of the most significant differences is the textured walls which give the illusion of looking outside the lair, in much the same way that the Window base items do.

Another significant difference to the layout are the deeper closets, allowing you to create smaller rooms next to the larger, open plan areas.

However, the biggest difference between the Atlantis lair theme and all other lair themes is the addition of the brand new extension, leading to a large, open room, perfect for displaying your League Hall base items.

The new room boasts 2 impressive, real windows which look outside the environment onto a sea bed vista, surrounded by ancient Atlantean statues.

The maximum item limit for this lair is still 500 base items. You can also place all of your amenities, but only on the designated Pink placement markers.

The entry to your lair is, unfortunately, limited to just Gotham City and Metropolis. Each location is located on the coasts of both cities. There are no spawn points currently in the Atlantis map.

The lair comes with Atlantis themed skins for your base amenities, but you are still required to unlock the amenities in order to place them in your base. This can be done via collections found in DCUO Episode 6: Home Turf, or by directly purchasing them off the DCUO Marketplace.

In addition to that, the lair also comes with it's own, unique Henchmen trinket. Activating the Atlantis Henchmen trinket will summon Silent School Magi to aid you in battle for a short while. If you haven't levelled up your henchmen, they will be summoned without masks. However, if you boost your Henchmen, 3, masked Silent School Magi will spawn.

This lair theme is only available off the DCUO Marketplace, at a cost of 1,500MC/DGC.

There are no feats or benefits to owning this item. It's purely down to whether or not you'd like to use it.

This lair theme is not compatible with PVP Lair Battles, due to the extra room that doesn't exist in the other maps.
