How to Sit in the '7 Gestures Posture' and What Each of the 7 Gestures Signifies.
In this video, we explore the '7 Gestures Posture', hailed as the 'Mother of the Postures' in Kum Nye practice. Discover how each of these gestures can significantly enhance your meditation practice, bringing balance and harmony into your life.
🌟 Learn the 7 Gestures' Posture:
• Sit with the legs crossed or if too difficult on a straight chair with legs uncrossed, the weight is evenly distributed on a firm triangular base.
• Hands on the knees, palms down , releasing tension in your ams and shoulders.
•The spine is balanced without being rigid, allowing the energy to flow naturally from the lower to the upper body.
•The neck is slightly drawn back so that the chin is tucked in so the neck and spine are aligned.
•The mouth is slightly open, with the jaw relaxed.
•The tip on the tongue is lightly touching the palate ridge, just back of the teeth.
•The eyes are half-open and are loosely focused on the ground, follow the ridge of the nose. Let your eyes be soft and compassionate, like the eyes of a mother looking at a new born baby.
