PFS 2024: HAPPENING 26 TO 28 JULY! ✨
After a decade of captivating audiences and showcasing poetic diversity, Poetry Festival Singapore (PFS) has become a cornerstone of Singapore’s cultural scene. As the festival approaches its milestone 10th anniversary, PFS is unveiling a slew of multigenerational and multilingual readings and is expressing gratitude for the strong support from the community.
During the weekend of July 26 to 28, 2024, PFS will host a poetry marathon featuring a line-up of established poets and emerging voices. This event is also an opportune moment for PFS to reflect on its mission and chart a course for the future.
Under the theme of “”Un.bound””, inspired by Shelley’s ‘Prometheus Unbound’, PFS seeks to affirm individual freedom and the expression of innermost thoughts and emotions through verse. By fostering inclusivity and nurturing lyrical excellence, PFS hopes to prime the collective imagination for new heights in the realm of poetry. The call to break free, transcend linguistic barriers, and amplify voices is at the core of this theme – urging all to break free from limitations and embrace creativity.
