We had an excellent time with Part 1 of the drum shell pitch tuning saga but we knew that there was still some work to be done. We needed to find how the addition of hoops, tension rods, and the application of drumheads would affect the drum shell but we needed to get our hands on some mesh heads to carry out the process. What we learned surprised us!
