Autel EVO II 8K Drone - First Impressions Review

Описание к видео Autel EVO II 8K Drone - First Impressions Review

First things first, when exporting in ProRes, the codec holds up great. Then I uploaded to h.265 for youtube and the color grade exploded. Wow, oops. Gunna try a different method for the next video.

Here's my second flight with the Autel Evo 2 8K Drone. I'm pretty much only going to fly this in 8K mode. Everything I've seen from the 4K doesn't look so hot. It's certainly beating up my computer a bit using the h265 codec in 8K, but what can you do.
The idea of 8K Aerial Footage is something we've been wanting for a long time. This certainly won't cut well with a RED 8K, but stay tuned for that video. When this Autel Evo II Drone was announced at CES in January, I couldn't wait to see more. Unfortunately, there was no actual 8K content, not even at CES, so we had to wait to see what this drone could really do. Well, it's time to find out.
So far what I'm seeing is that 8K looks spectacular. But this isn't real 8K. It's a mathematical trick to get the resolution out of the sensor. It certainly is sharper, but quite digital looking. It's hard to appreciate what 8K looks like, so I've been watching on my Samsung 8K QLED, which really does a good job at cleaning up the image for an even better looking picture.
