The authorities are investigating the employment practices of Red Crowns Senior Living, an assisted co-living agency. The Manpower Ministry said it has serious concerns that the agency's operating model may be putting elderly clients at risk. It is also looking at possible offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act. In a Facebook post, MOM alleged that migrant domestic workers at Red Crowns Senior Living were registered employees of elderly clients, but Red Crowns controlled the terms of their employment and deployment.
