About this video - Today I have shared the recipe of Halwai Style Aloo ki sabji or Rasavalu Bataka Nu Shaak. It is also known as Vara Nu Shaak. Mostly this sabji is prepared by halwai or rasoiya maharaj during the wedding function and serve it with Poori, Kala Chana, Churma Ladoo, Mohanthal, Gujarati Dal Bhat. This sabji come out very tasty and delicious so must try it at your home and don't forget to give your valuable feedback in comment section

Ingredients

Serving - 4-5 Person

350 grams or 3 Big Size Potatoes
1 tbsp + 4 tbsp Refined Oil
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
As per taste Salt
1 ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
2 tsp Coriander Cumin Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala/Kitchen King Masala
½ tsp Asafoetida/Hing
As required Water
2 Dry Red Chilli
½ tsp Ginger Chilli Paste
½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds/Methi Dana
½ tsp Mustard Seeds/Rai
½ tsp Cumin Seeds/Jeera
1 Bay Leaf/Tej Patta
1 Star Anise/Badiya
2 Cloves/Lavang
1 Cinnamon Stick/Dalchini
7-8 Curry Leaves/Kadhi Patta
1 Medium Size Diced Tomato
3 tbsp Tamarind Water/Imli Ka Paani (Instead of it you can also add Lemon Juice)
3 tbsp Chopped Jaggery
2 tsp Coarsely Ground Peanuts
2 tsp Coarsely Ground Roasted Sesame Seeds
1 tsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves/Kasuri Methi
2 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves

Serve it with Poori, Churma Ladoo, Kala Chana Sabji, Gujarati Dal - Steamed Rice
