The summer of 1978. Jaya Mami, a family friend and musician, came one afternoon to visit us. She came bearing many gifts, but the biggest one was this song. Our first memory of Ragam Kannadagowla.

An unheard Ragam, an unheard composition for us then - it captured our imagination and has stayed fresh in our memories and ears, like the morning dew.
