We traded in our snowblower and winter boots for shorts and flipflops! 🏖️🩴

We are 2 Canadians that sold everything and moved to Mexico Oct 14th 2021
We packed up 3 suitcases each with our then 12 year old Maltese & hopped on a plane for Cancun. ✈️🏖️🩴

In this vlog please join us as we take you on a tour of our favorite market here in Mexico thus far.

The reason why we love this market so much is, it has everything you need, everything is fresh, every stall is very clean and well organized, the prices are very reasonable. The people are very friendly and they offer a wide variety of restaurants to dine at and everyone we tried was delicious.
They have lost of parking front and back, you can even dine with an amazing view of the coastline.
This is a great market to get your groceries and grab a bite to eat chicos.

We moved to Mexico for a slower pace healthier lifestyle, under the sun in the sand & palm trees!!
Making new friends and experiencing a new culture and language.

We started our journey looking in Progreso area in the Yucatan, using a realtor.
Update: we ended up living in Merida for the first 6 months then we moved to Progreso.
Update: We then moved to Chicxulub then back to Merida.
We then moved Coatepec then to Xalapa Veracruz, we are now on the Oaxacan coastline chicos.✌🏽 Next stop will be Metepec a town just east of Mexico city, then we head to Cancun for the winter of 2025/26
Hope to see you in Cancun on the white sandy beaches of the Caribbean ocean. 🌊🏖️

You can join us as we travel around Mexico staying at each location for approximately one year, this way we can fully explore the area. It will also keep our content fresh and exciting for us all chicos. ✌🏽🎉🎊
