BUDGET home improvements - Building a new PORCH

Hi everyone a midweek release so anything goes so its a DIY project, budget home improvements is the subject this week. Building a porch with my neighbour. I wanted to improve my home on a budget so I enlisted the help of my neighbour Lil T. Home improvements on a budget to increase the value of your home is really achievable if you have friends in a trade. Lil T is retired now but he is keen to help me building a new porch on my property to aid with heating bills, security and an overall new look to my home. We needed to do this on a budget and Lil T helped me choose an affordable, robust and reasonably easy to build porch from a local company. I have made this 11 minute video to give a quick overview of what was involved in building a new porch and making some budget home improvements.

Cost of Labour £0 coz Lil T is awesome and we help each other do budget home improvements on both our properties because sometimes you just need an extra pair of hands not a tradesman (I was the extra pair of hands) Lil T is a highly gifted and experienced retired tradesman who enjoyed this project.
