Shaw, Oscar Wilde, Yeats, Swift and James Joyce, and the famous Irish dance also originates from here. The countryside has many beautiful castles, parks and charming medieval villages, while nature comforts the visitor with such beauties as the Powerscourt waterfall, the ‘glen of the two lakes’, the limestone plateau of Burren or the Cliffs of Moher.
