So you set of in new automation. Now we're going add a start trigger.
We would really want somebody coming on to the list of this so we go to “subscribes to list”.
Click “continue”.
Then we have to “select lists” from our drop down list.
We're looking for the “marketing generator”.
Add that to the start.

Next we're going to add a wait, to give time to make sure the tagging’s taking
properly etc and doesn't foul up.
I usually allow five minutes for this and click “five” from the drop down list, we click “minutes” and “save”.
Next we are going to add to make sure it’s been correctly tagged.
So “if /else”. So select the condition. The condition is “contact details”.


Find “tag” down there.
The tag exists and then you look down the list of tags that you have created and in this case
we’re looking for the “beginner”.
So there click “OK”.
So they come into your list and you’re checking if the tag.
If the answer is yes and they do have the correct tag we want to send them on to the next automation.

So at this point we will go to “start automation”. Choose from a list of automations we have already created.
This time the marketing “single double marketing generator beginner” is the one we want.
“Save” and they come through.
If they're not tagged correctly you want to end the automation. So you move up to where it says “end this automation”, click on that and there it's complete.
So you have someone coming into your list tagged.

They then get to the “does this contact have the right tag”. If the answer’s yes they go to the automation. If the answer’s no, the automation is ended

That's the job done.
