"Jason X" is a sci-fi horror film set in the year 2455, where Earth is no longer habitable. A group of students on a field trip discover the frozen bodies of Jason Voorhees and Dr. Rowan LaFontaine at the Crystal Lake Research Facility. They bring them aboard their spaceship, the Grendel, and revive Rowan, but Jason is mistakenly left in stasis.

As the crew tries to figure out what's going on, Jason awakens and starts killing everyone on the ship. He's eventually turned into a cyborg, "Uber Jason," with nanotechnology, making him almost unstoppable.

The survivors, including Tsunaron and KM-14, an android, try to escape, but Jason's relentless. He kills most of the crew, including Stoney, Kinsa, and Sergeant Brodski. In the end, Jason is seemingly killed when Brodski and he are propelled into Earth's atmosphere, but not before Jason's charred mask sinks into a lake on Earth II, setting up a potential sequel.

It's a wild ride with plenty of creative kills and nods to the original "Friday the 13th" franchise.
