2021 - In planning a trip the Oregon coast we couldn't pass up a chance to slip over the boarder in to Northern California and Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. The Grove of the Titans was discovered in the late 1990s and didn't become known to the public until about 2011.

The Grove of Titans is a redwood grove that is home to some of the largest known redwoods in terms of wood volume. The Grove includes 3 of the 10 largest coast redwoods:

"Del Norte Titan"
"El Viejo del Norte"
"Lost Monarch"
