DahiBara Aludum recipe : It is a very popular Odia street food . Dahi ( Thin curd tempered with Indian spices such as curry leaves, mustard and cumin seeds , dry red chilli etc ), Bara ( Soaked and fried urad dal paste dumplings ) , AluDum ( Boiled potato is cooked with spicy gravy ). It takes little more time to prepare but, it tastes divine .As it is a healthy food , it can be taken in the breakfast or in evening snack. So, watch this delicious and unique Odisha style DahiBara AluDum. Try it at home and enjoy .

Ingredients:
- For making Urad dal paste Vada / Bara we need :
1. White urad dal - 1 cup ( You can also use black urad lentil )
2. Semolina / Sooji - 1 tbsp

- For making Curd water / Dahi Pani we need :
1. Curd - 1 cp
2. Water - 1 glass
3. Fresh curry leaves - 1 stem ( 6 - 8 leaves )
4. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
5. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
6. Mustard seeds - 12 tsp
7. Black salt - 1/2 tbsp ( or add as per taste )
8. Dry red chilli - 2
9. Chopped onion - 1 ( Medium ) - for garnishing
10. Fried sev ( For garnishing )
11. Dry red chilli flakes - 1/2 tbsp or 1 no
12. Roasted cumin seed powder - A pinch
13. Refined oil - 1 tbsp

- For making Potato gravy / Alu Dum we need :
1. Boiled potato - 3 ( Medium ) - Cut into big square size
2. Chopped onion - 1 ( Big )
3. Chopped tomato - 1 ( Medium )
4. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
5. Dry red chilli - 1
6. Cardamom - 1
7. Cinnamon stick - 1
8. Bay leaf - 1
9. Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tsp
10. Finely chopped coriander - 1 tbsp
11. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
12. Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
13. Roasted cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
14. Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
15. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tsp
16. Water - 1/2 glass ( Or add as per the required garvy consistency )
17. Mustard oil - ( 2 - 3 tbsp )
