Used all the processes and found it to have a very smooth arc in every process. It even welds 6011 1/8" electrode. The hardest things for it was 6011 and thick AL MIG, both of which pushes the machine's capacity. 7018,7024,6013 1/8" rods welded very smooth and lay out gorgeous beads. TIG arc was very smooth, as well as all the other wirefeed processes.

Sorry if I didn't seem organized in this video, was talking off the top of my head and it was late at night.

So I got a e-mail from Miller last month and just yesterday had time to call them. It was about a software update. I'll update you on how it runs once I get it and test it. This is a cut and paste of the email:

Congratulations on your purchase of your Miller Multimatic 200. You are being notified because you have successfully registered your lder and Miller has developed a software update for your Multimatic 200. The complimentary software update is being offered to you for registering your product. Our weld engineers have worked extensively with key customers during the early release of the product and have made some tweaks to enhance the arc even more. These enhancements include improved stick starts and restrikes, high output setting on 120V input power, flux-core arc performance, and selectable TIG Auto-Crater instead of automatic TIG Auto-Crater. We have made incremental changes to production units as we developed the updates, but this memory card will benefit any machine manufactured prior to SN: MC351231N.

The update is offered in the form of a memory card that plugs into the front panel of the machine. The update is quick and easy. **Update 5/28/13**
Sorry for not updating this sooner. Had the new program and it does run 1/8" 6011 and 6010 a little better. It was able to maintain the arc better then before. As for the other processes it is still smooth as ever.

For the folks asking about duty cycle it should be on the miller website.

I should of mentioned this sooner and came to the realization soon after I made this video. I had said in the video that the machine is assembled in the US but not made here and would of prefer it be all made here. This was wishful thinking on my part. Being an inverter based machine there are a bunch of electronics (chips, etc.) in it and in today's global market most electronics are made in Taiwan, Korea, and China. So I'm still thankful that it was assemble here. I think Miller did as much as they could here in the US.
