Tim Cook is a First World War historian at the Canadian War Museum and the author of 11 books, including The Secret History of Soldiers: How Canadians Survived the Great War (18). For his contributions to history, he has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Governor General’s History Award for Popular Media. Cook is a Member of the Order of Canada.
