P0622 Fault Code Alternator not charging.
Often times it is the brushes or brush/voltage regulator assembly.
The rebuilt alternators from mass market retailers are spotty at best (I went through 5 before I got a good one). If your alternator has good bearings and a good clutch you are better off just fixing it.
I made this video in MAY 2016, It is now NOV 2018. This same alternator is now in it's second van and on its third set of brushes.
I drive about 45,000 miles a year. Including the miles I drove before the video, I estimate it has over 200,000 miles on it and still going strong.
