We spent the last video examining G.O.A.T video game lists to find a consensus greatest video game. While we got a decent idea of contenders from a small sample size, there were a few issues that prevented us from coming away with a definitive answer.

In today's video, we iron out the processes I plan to use for collecting data from G.O.A.T video game lists. This method will carry over into future videos and serve as the standard for video game data collection for the channel.



What the abbreviations mean in the box score:

TL: Total Lists (the number of lists used to create our data sample)
PLC: Placements (total number of times a specific game placed among the lists)
TSP: Total Series Placements (total number of placements for an entire series in a data sample)
PEAK: Peak (the highest ranking a game achieved in the data sample)
OSA: Overall Series Average (the average ranking for an entire series’s representatives in the data sample)
ARK: Average Ranking (the average ranking a specific game achieves from the data sample)
