North Sea Port, Europe's Premier Hydrogen Port

Описание к видео North Sea Port, Europe's Premier Hydrogen Port

North Sea Port, the Dutch-Belgian port of Vlissingen, Terneuzen and Ghent, is an established authority in the field of hydrogen. At present, 600,000 tonnes of hydrogen - mainly generated from natural gas - is annually produced and consumed in our port. And as Western Europe’s largest hydrogen cluster, we want to continue to lead the transition towards green and low carbon hydrogen.

Our port has a solid ecosystem of producers, users, and manufacturers of hydrogen-based technology. Together with our future infrastructure, this ecosystem serves as the blueprint for the North Sea Port hydrogen hub that we are developing with our partners.

North Sea Port hydrogen facts & figures:

600,000 tonnes of hydrogen annually produced and consumed
Solid ecosystem of producers, users and manufacturers of hydrogen-based technology
Largest hydrogen network in Western-Europe
Will be integrated in Dutch and Belgian national grids in 2026
Dedicated infrastructure for large-scale production, consumption, import and transfer
A wide range of hydrogen applications (feedstock, fuel and circular products)
