Jimmy’s Deli is a sandwich deli located on Anderson St, in Yarraville, next door to their Greek restaurant Elenis. It is a tribute to the owners late grandfather Jimmy, a beloved Yarraville butcher known for his hearty portions and warm welcomes.

They’re currently running this 1.2kg Tomahawk steak as a special at the moment for $89, Fridays to Sundays from 11am until sold out.
It is perfectly tender, cooked medium rare over a charcoal grill, with a nice black crust! Salted and seasoned well and that peppercorn sauce was amazing! Served with triple cooked potatoes, house pickles and a huge slice of bread.

We shared between two people but hey if you can do it alone, power to you! There are only a few tables - but there are a few communal ones in the parklet on Ballarat St.

Highly recommend, i wish i captured everyones reactions as they saw the steak passing! I have a review on the sandwiches coming soon - but i felt this needed it’s own recognition!
