Westpac (WBC) has announced an expected loss of $173 million in the upcoming 2023 financial year, owing to one-off factors including their asset portfolios and the sale of its asset management business. Despite a net profit in the previous FY, the bank's common equity tier one capital ratio is expected to reduce by 4 basis points. So what do our experts, Grady Wulff from Bell Direct and Mark Moreland from TeamInvest, make of this? Mark isn't a fan, saying that Westpac is not good performer. And hasn't been for a long time.
