READ: I've been getting a lot of comments regarding the background music. If you don't like it, just mute the video. If you weren't aware that you can mute videos on YT and insist on being a little bitch in the comments, then you have no business flying FPV because you are an idiot.

As mentioned by my sources at Happymodel, the ES24TX and PP/EP1/EP2 RX’s are not preconfigured with certain settings that will allow it to run with the lowest possible latency, 500hz refresh rate, and killer frame rate that Express LRS is known for.

Luckily, it’s not too difficult to unlock your new ExLRS TX and RX’s true potential. If you’re a racer or someone who just wants to experience what it feels to be really locked-in to your quad, YOU NEED TO DO THIS!

As of the making of this video, flashing the TX via UART results in failure. I’m sure the devs will solve this soon, but, for now, this guide only covers flashing the TX via Wifi.

EDIT: According to Jye Smith, "FYI flashing the tx with USB should work but you will need to move the pinheader, and hold the boot button when powering on. I should have mine in a couple of days and can confirm. The pin header is there help with emergency flashing the main esp32 or the esp8285 backpack."

EDIT: Update on flashing TX via UART. Thank you, Kevin Bernitz for sharing this!
"I just received my Happymodel 2.4 TX - I needed to upgrade it via USB as I am using it with my deviationtx T8SG. However it was failing - turns out (by trial and error) that the jumpers needed to be moved down to the bottom two pins (rather than the middle pins that it shipped with) to allow it to flash successfully."   / 757219071535964
