Modak is a sweet dumpling or hand pie which is very popular dessert from western parts of India. it's prepared with flour or rice flour & Coconut-Jaggery stuffing and either steamed or deep fried. It is an Indian version of deep fried Hand Pie made with flour pastry sheets & sweet filling. Here I BAKED them in oven instead of Deep Frying to cut down the excess calorie without compromising the taste. Now enjoy the flavour guilt free.
