Review and Smoking a Montclair Black 100 Full Flavor Cigarette.

The history of these is interesting, to say the least. Montclair was first introduced in the 1960's by the American Tobacco Company as a low tar cigarette brand, but had slowly evolved over time into a budget brand by the 1990's. What this video is about is not one of the original varieties, however, and this is because the originals were discontinued sometime in the 1990's. At this point, the history of the brand gets complex, to say the least. In the mid 90's, American Tobacco was absorbed by another tobacco company, who then sold the Montclair nameplate to another company, and then that tobacco company was bought by another, which then changed their name twice, reintroduced the brand, and then changed their name again, and so now the nameplate is owned and produced by ITG, which brings us to the current era. In 2013, Montclair, including this variety, the Black 100’s, were reintroduced into the United States Market as a "new" budget cigarette with an old name.
