Soul charge allows a generic +5 from the graveyard, an effect which is heavily relegated and restricted in almost every archetype which has a similar effect to simply summon one monster. Red Reboot can instantly win you games versus Trap decks, with nothing like it existing for spells or monsters because it would be too powerful if it did. Summon Sorceress is a generic summon from the deck, something which many combos and FTK decks would kill to have in their arsenal again. Imperial Order was so good at stopping spells it was banned again, even after an errata. Magical Scientist is at worst a +7 in card advantage, and Maxx C kind of warps the game around itself, and can allow you to skip your opponent's turn or draw a bunch of cards, neither of which is a downside to the player using it.
