CREEK CHUB BLUEFISH - Popping Tailor Blues with Good New Moon Topwater Fishing Talk. Topwater baits are awesome for bluefish. Keep an eye on your lure while your working it. I started with a 6" Yo-Zuri pencil popper and finished with a 3.5" Creek Chub. The Creek Chub was great. Rusty dull hooks. I did not take the time to sharpen those rusty hooks. That's how good the Chub done did. The tailor blues went nuts for the Creek Chub one after the other. I am sure, instant hook up with sharp hooks. If your looking to catch each every fish - MAKE SURE YOU HOOKS ARE SHARP! This did not matter to me. I ain't fishing to light up a scoreboard. I would blow out the circuits if I did, hehe. Just had to say that. Any case, what I found most interesting about the day was the storm. Not in the video. Grey skies rolling in. Rain coming down. Seemed perfect. Not a touch once it started to change weather. I just expected more. It is a full moon now. It is a good moon. Your fishing should be great this weekend! Tightlines to all!
