#Bathymetric survey of a lake near Riga, Latvia using #UAV #drone equipped with an #echosounder.

Survey-grade single-beam single-frequency echosounder with precision 0.2% fixed under drone using a rope. To keep a sensor vertical stainless tube is used. Also, the tube guaranteed additional protection of the echosounder in case of not accurate landings on hard surfaces of piers or roads.

Flight at constant altitude over water managed by UgCS terrain-following system with a radar altimeter.
