The mine is owned by Sune Merisheki and is called the Netanya Camp, which Sune said he named it after the large diamond cutting center. While it was not legal for us to take or buy any minerals from the tanzanite mining area, this was just a visit for us to see exactly where Tanzanite came from. It was an amazing adventure to go into the earth to see exactly how tanzanite is found.
