On February 4th, 2023, the Harrison Hot Springs Fire Department and Agassiz Fire Department came together for a special joint training opportunity. The burning of two structures located in Harrison Hot Springs.

In this video we have shown a glimpse into some of the training done by the departments through the burning of two buildings. The fire department's role was to experience how a real fire develops, how to control a fire and how to protect nearby property.

These two structures were donated by a local RV resort developer (Springs RV Resort) to provide priceless real live fire training and experience to our two local fire departments. They were intended to be completely burned to the ground, not extinguished.

Thank you to the Harrison Hot Springs Fire Department, the Agassiz Fire Department and Springs RV Resort for allowing us access to film this event. It was an unforgettable experience for us and the firefighters.

Apologies for the audio quality, our equipment wasn’t the greatest at the time. We have subsequently upgraded our gear and are ready for anything!
