Memory Banks Episode 2: Zach Miller

Memory Banks, presented by FCS and GoPro, is a new series where we talk to some of the faces of the surfboard shaping industry about why they got into the biz, what makes them tick and how they approach constructing a surfboard.

For the second episode, we’d like to introduce the lovely Zach Miller of Portrait Ltd. After riding a friend’s twinny in the surf one day and finally realising the power of alternative shapes and the feeling he’d been chasing while skating, Zach looked deeper at the synchronicities between surfing and skating to better shape a board for someone who switches between the two sports. Blending classic outlines with a progressive, modern approach to performance, Zach loves experimenting with FCS fins for their versatility and design-forward approach.
