How to Make a Linktree Page & Add It to Your TikTok Profile

When checking out people’s profiles on TikTok, you may notice that many people have a link in their bio with “Linktree” in the URL. Watch this tutorial to learn how to make a Linktree and how to add a Linktree to your TikTok profile.

If you’re not familiar with Linktree, we’ll start out with a quick overview of what these are and how they work. Linktree makes it easy for people to make a custom webpage with easy access to links for your social media pages, YouTube, website, and more. These are super useful for influencers as well to link to any affiliate pages. Linktree is free to use and can be shared easily on your profiles on TikTok, Instagram, and more.

Note: in order to add a link to your TikTok profile, you need to either switch to a Business account, or have a Creator account with over 1000 followers. You can easily switch account types in your TikTok settings if necessary.

To start creating your Linktree, go to linktr.ee in your web browser. (https://linktr.ee/) Then tap Get Started for Free. Enter your email, desired username, and a password. Your Linktree username will also serve as part of your URL, so keep this in mind. When you’re done, tap the check box to agree to terms and conditions, then click Sign Up with Email. Now, enter your full name. Then select 3 categories you’d use to describe what purposes you plan to use your Linktree for, like brand, influencer, education, etc. Complete the “I’m not a robot” reCAPTCHA test, then tap Continue. Next, choose whether you’d like a Free or Pro Linktree account. The Pro account costs $6/month. I’m selecting free. Scroll down and tap Sign up for free.

To confirm your registration, check your email inbox for a link to verify. Tap Verify Email to complete your sign-up process. Then tap Continue.

Now it’s time to set up your Linktree. Tap Add New Link. Then type in a title for your link that will appear above it on your Linktree page. Then you can type in or paste the URL you want to add. If you have several links you want to add, you can sort them under headers. Tap the lightning bolt to access more options. Then select Add a Header. Type in a header title you’d like to use. Continue adding as many links and headers as you’d like.

Next you can edit the design of your Linktree page. Tap Appearance. Customize your profile by adding a title, bio, and profile picture if you’d like. If you scroll down you can choose a theme template you like. If you have a Linktree Pro account, you’ll have additional template options as well as the ability to custom make your own design with backgrounds, fonts, and more.

Once you’ve customized your page’s appearance, tap Settings at the top. Here you can add your social media links. These will be linked at the bottom of your Linktree page with social media icons. When you’re all done making changes to your Linktree, tap your Linktree URL at the top to see how it looks. Test out your links to make sure you didn’t make any mistakes in your URLs. If all looks good, you can go ahead with adding your Linktree to TikTok. Go back to your Linktree tab and tap Share. Then select TikTok. Tap Copy. Then go to TikTok Open your TikTok page and select Edit Profile. Under Website, paste in your Linktree link. After that, your Linktree is all set up on your TikTok page and ready to use.

That’s all it takes to create a Linktree page and add it to your TikTok profile.
