Sir William Walton - Symphony no. 1: André Previn conducting the LSO in 1970

Following his landmark recording of the Walton first symphony for RCA in 1966, André Previn gave this even more taut and implacable performance with the London Symphony Orchestra at the Proms in August 1970.
