Today Trevor is answering a commonly asked question, " How do you heat your house if you have no power?". When you are disconnected from power there is a way to get you gas fireplace to heat your home! Watch our video to learn how to turn on your gas fireplace if there is a power outage.

We thought this video was important to make since what happened to Texas in 2021 when they had the freeze that shut down the power. Many of those families had to spend some time with no heat, but there are ways to keep your house warm if the power goes out! Most gas fireplaces come with an external battery pack. In this video we are demonstrating the battery pack on a Mendota fireplace.
