WE HARVESTED A FEW CALAMANSI FRUIT...

And I squeezed them very inefficiently into juice.

That's just one of a myriad of activities exploring Davao City in the last few days!

We start in the mountains of Davao, Marilog District to be precise, where I met Tunas, one of the new generation of indigenous leaders who is trying to keep their culture alive. I love their crafts and his dream of building a School of Living Tradition in Sitio Nangalid!

Then down (via new speed cameras) it's time to experience a neighbouring culture, in the form of Moro food! From Tiyula Itum to Utak-Utak - I love the diversity and flavours.

The next day I was fixing the broken - changing a tire and my phone's daot LCD! Then with memories of last night's dinner, I went to try another version of satti at Yong's!

Finally back home, and time to squeeze all of this calamansi before it goes bad! I have to figure out a more efficient way of doing this!
