Happy scenes from a newly opened beautiful Little Island at Pier 55 along Hudson River as a part of Hudson River Park around the boundary of Chelsea and Meat Packing District in Manhattan New York City.

The base of the island is made of funnel shaped concrete pods and creates an undulating terrain with hills and lawns full of plant greens and flowers. Great for picnic and strolling as well as enjoying performing art shows in the outdoor theaters.
