Mount Athabasca towers above the Columbia Icefields next to the popular Athabasca Glacier. There is a scramble route but it's a mountaineers paradise with several climbing routes. I've been eyeing up this mountain for some time so it's nice to finally do it. Ran into Russy, Prakong & Linda on the ridge, Andrew at the summit & Stella Li on descent. Lots of people on the mountain. First song is Rather Be Home by Eddie Vedder & Glen Hansard. Second song is Wrangling by Brien Tyler & Breton Vivian. Third song is Wave Conqueror by Max Ananyev.
